Private-Label Bags: From Brief to Order Approval

The starting point

Prepare one brief covering the product, retail pack, quantity, destination and required evidence. Keep the approved sample, specification, artwork and quotation aligned before confirming the order.

Start with a complete product brief.

Include the application, reference SKU or custom format, material, dimensions, thickness and tolerance, colour, closure and pack count. Specify total pieces and explain how those pieces are packed into rolls, boxes or cartons.

The stated minimum order is 2,000 pieces. For film, confirm the quoted unit and the conversion to rolls and cartons. Lead time is confirmed with the quotation; no fixed production-day promise is made here.

Download the editable sourcing brief or use the specification planner.

Describe the retail presentation.

Share your logo, text, barcode requirements and preferred label, box or wrapping format. State whether printing belongs on the bag, outer packaging or both. Flexo, gravure and plain options are subject to feasibility for the selected product.

Confirm colours, artwork dimensions, language, material claims and the final proof. Artwork from a reference photograph should not be assumed to be the final packaging for your order.

Agree the sample and acceptance record.

Request sample availability, preparation time and any sample or shipping charges. Record what must be checked: size, closure, count, print and any agreed performance requirements.

Keep any approved sample or specification reference identifiable. If a material, dimension or artwork changes later, identify the change explicitly and request confirmation before proceeding.

Confirm packing and commercial terms.
